Another picture. Because there is no key from rubber to slide there is no key on the lip of the rubber. Everyone who is smart enough to be able to change the rubber will be smart enough to know how to index the slide in the carb body. I will have pricing in a couple of days on them, but it will be most likely $125 for the four rubbers plus post. These will work on all Mikuni BS34 KZ700/750/1000/1100 carbs.

Just found out from the molder that he is sending me three sets this week. These are production test shots and will be of production quality. If anyone requires some. I still don't have a definite price though just the estimated minimum price he gave me. So the $125 is the price for now until he raises my price.

Production "rubbers" are ready. I am very happy with the new material we are using and the quality of the product itself. They are a little softer than OE Mikuni and just as soft as OE Keihin rubbers. This should produce a bit faster response and no binding, such as can be experienced with older rubbers. All that has to be done to use these is to cut off the old rubbers and the retaining rings and slip on the new rubber. They can be glued on if you wish but I dont think it will be necessary.

Go and buy some of those. They are made out of the same material as what the boots are made out of that go from the carbs to a OE airbox, and they are 80 shore A hardness. Mine are made out of Nitrile rubber and are shore 55 hardness. Once you install them you will find the difference real quick. Also you are aware how hard those boots get once they get exposed to heat a few times and to Gasoline. I bought those rubbers and tried them. It took a total of over 15oz Yes almost 1lb, to compress them. It takes 1.7oz to compress mine. Now imagine how they will react in a carburetor wit only vacuum moving them and being under spring load. You are not showing me something that I do not already know and have not already tried.
As you can see on this picture with the other guys diaphragm at the bottom. There is a Nology ignition coil, a KZ1000 cam cap with bearings and a small flash light (not visible) stacked on top of this rubber. The scale is showing 12oz and the diaphragm is still holding. These will work fine in a constant speed Rotax engine for ultralight aircraft when you slowly throttle up and hold constant throttle. They however will not respond to the usual "cracked" throttle on a bike.
