carbs cleaning and mods

hi guys, i've just bought a 1982 kz1000 markII, im looking for carb's cleaning procedure, free repairs and service manuals, carb's kit replacement and any mods possible on the carbs. thanks.

What is a 1982 kz1000 markII?
If the 82 is stock your carbs are prob BS34s, I just cleaned mine and it wasnt to complicated just be carefull around the diaphrams.

Whats happening if i change the air filter to a 4 k&n performance air filter? do i have to change something in the carbs to improve the performance? how it's working in the carbs to improve performance thanks for your help

You will need to rejet for the pods. I had a guy rebuild and jet mine for me and he used #140 main jets and #40 pilot jets for the pods. Since then I have cleaned them my self and it wasnt very complicated.
If you have any mech ability it shouldnt be a problem.
Im learning to take care of my carbs for myself.

there isnt one these things gravity feed
1978 kz650b pretty much stock
