carb ports?

i have a set of kz 750 specture carbs i just bought these carbs have what looks like a vacuum prt in between them my old ones didn't can any body help me or tell me what gets hooked on to them ?

i have the same port on mine it is a drain in case of a sticking float to direct fuel away from the engine may be the same on yours

that wont be a drain it will be a vent, it's a pretty good chance the reason the cap is on it is that fuel is puking out of it if that is the case you will probably need to replace the float valve assembly.
