I would like to eliminate my airbox and put Pod filters on would I need to rejet the carbs to do this?

There seems to be quite the controversy about this topic. After some of my own questions and some searching of old posts, I decided to leave the stock box on. just removing the silencer extension.

seems there is the quick answer to the quick question, and the long and painful answer that may change your mind on the whole thing.

Pods look and sound way nicer but there are some fact to know about them. CV carbs (vacuum operated slide) are more difficult to adjust as the vacuum neede will be much lower. Also sidewinds cause irradic vacuum and therefore irradis slide operation.

When considering this check K&N´s lists for free flowing filters to air boxes. This way you might get the best of both ideas.

IMO Pod are coolB) But I got flatslide smootbores:P
