KZ1075 9 to1 compression air box vm26

Hello every one,thank you for your time spent on this web site.I have a 78kz 1000B2 that I am puting a 1075 kit in,this is my 1st motorcycle rebuild.The kit has 9 to 1 compression.I have vm26 carbs and plan on using the stock air box with a k&n filter.I live at 300 feet above sea level and dont plan on going over 5000 above sea level.The carbs have 15 pilots and 110 mains,will this size jets work or will it melt?What size jets would be best?
PS 4 in to 2 mac exhaust

definitely a good question for wired george to answer.....a lot of variables....

Give it a try with the jets you have. The 78 VM26 is lean from the factory and it would not hurt to install some #17.5 pilot jets, clip to 4th slot and I personally would thing some somewhat larger mains would work a bit better with the kit you have... perhaps #115s.
