vm26 with a 1075 kit

should i anticapate problems with my 26 s that are jetted for a stock motor with pods and a pipe,
that now will be feeding a 1075 with 10.5 compression and andrews 2x cams with .360 lift with 258 duration....can i make these carbs work for now until i get something bigger?....do i need bigger as i wont be twisting it much past 8k on the street? inquiring minds want and need to know....as always thanks in advance, keith

yes those carb's will work just fine of coruse it would work better with a set of 29's but as far as it being ridable for the street they will work 17.5 pilots,needle in middle position and 115 main jets should get you in the ball park.

yes that will get you up and running for sure i pulled my 29's off my street bike and put a set of 26's back on 1075cc, .395 web cams yosh pipe and other than being down some horsepower they work fine,not quite as quick or as fast but i can live with that. besides i needed them for my little dragbike and i still needed a street bike as well.
