29 smoothbores running on choke only

Hey folks,
i cleaned my carbs while i was messing with a petcock issue the other day ,,carb cleaner....sprayed out my jets, removed the floats and cleaned my needle floats off & reinstalled them and the floats sprayed out my inlets and put em back on last night i tried to run it ...to many projects...and it wants full choke to even sound close to running good if i give it gas ir boggs if i take off the choke and give it gas it dies...i know ,i know, or once knew. whats wrong but am having a brain stall... i got a great perfomance and a normal manual so tomorrow night i'll re-read it it before tearing into the carbs again ...somthing simple i'm sure ...any help would be cool too,, as i am still rusty but trying to get stuff going ...peace craig

What did you do with the VENT-LINES?
Did you leave them hanging,or did you happen to connect them from one set of (2) carbs to the other?

i just put some lines on em and ran em up under my tank to frame to seat area. the smoothbores only have two "vents"?one between each inner and outer carbs and none on the bowls...peace

And the lines are no way getting pinched anywhere?

To what point exactly,did you pull the carbs apart?

not pinched,,i only pulled the bowls and the floats and wiped off the seat needles under the float tabbs and sprayed out all the nooks and crannys ,no top work ,no air mixture screws,,,thanks( just making sure i was on the same page on the vents}

I'd pullem again,and get some compressed air in there.
Chances are,you have some grit plugging up one of the choke circuits.
How bad did the bowls look when you pulled them off?

grimy but not gritty,i'm gonna thanks for your answers i'm hitting the hay peace and dream wheelies craig

The pilot circuits are dirty/obstructed.

they were on now about 9 months or so since you last advised me on jets and mix screw settings and had lost a little of the clean open snap closed operation i rememberd them having so i cleaned the easy stuff...i must have got somthing in there maybe from a torn or ethanol chewed petcock diaphram.. or blew some dirt in instead of out...my bad...will correct ...peace and as allways thanks...
