 Ok I bought a very nive 79 kz 650 c3 had been stored since 88 or at least this was the date of the plate I took off. Long story short as possible rebuilt fuel tap still leaking by when bike is off"vacuum type" and today when I went in the garage strong gas fumes and a puddle gas is coming out of the over flow from the secon carb in from tap. This thing runs great and I hate to think about getting into the carbs right now.

I had this problem before. Your carb is simply overflowing due to the petcock leak. Rebuild the petcock with new gasket set, or have it done professionally.

Then it wont flow until you go B)

Cheers.
