KZ650 carb vent hose routing

Hey guys, my carb vent hoses are ran to the ground like my overflow hoses. Would this cause a problem since they are not routed over the airbox? I'm just wondering since I am still having problems running on the highway and when it is warm outside. Carbs not venting properly??

If in doubt, remove the vent hoses and go for a ride. If the problem corrects itself when riding without the hoses, they were in some way obstructing ventilation of the float bowls.
