Refurbishing 750 carbs or buy new? What to do?

I have an oportunity to buy a 750 for cheap but my only concern are the carbs. I've never seen High performance carbs for 750s and I've never seen rebuild kits for them either??? On top of that where would buy coils for them and any other high performance or after market part? What to do? Any of you 750, 2 cylinder owners out there, what have you done?

I think 3 or 4 of your questions can be answered with: z1enterprises.com

...carb kits, parts, coils, etc....

...it's the "high-performance" part that I can't help you with!!

FOLLOW-UP:.... I bought carb kits for mine years ago... but in hindsight, all I ever needed were new flat valves and float bowl gaskets...

I just found my Mikuni 34mm BS Carbset in the garage... Thought I trashed them years ago....
It was a major woo hooo moment.

Will likely be giving WG a ring next week about getting them rebuilt.

With high performance parts for the 750's it's all about the magic of cross referencing.

The good example is my clutch.
ZX-11 carbon plates stacked in the GPz clutch basket and some stiffer than normal Barnett springs works great with synthetic blend oil...

Take your time an read up on what folks have done. I received help all along the way, as most of us have.

The year/model of 750 twin matters.

76-79 have carb kits available. (BS38's)
80, I've never seen a carb kit for. (BS38's)

82-83 carb kits and parts are available (BS34's)

And you can get brand new Mikuni carbs from Sudco (I think) for the 750 twin, SmithGPz did.
