kz1000 police carb kit?

hi my name is Lou i am a new old member here from a few years back. glad to see the forum is still alive and well. my buddy overseas wrote me to see if i could get a carb rebuild kit and filter for his 1997 kz1000 police special. i have looked around and haven't really found anyplace that sells a kit. does anyone know if they sell em or maybe a link. tried ebay, kawasaki, and carbkitcapital.com. thanks guys. I am in the same boat (1986 KZ1000P) The carbs are Mikuni BS34 in case you didn't know. As far as a kit I haven't found one. The 81-83 KZ1000 shaft and 82-83 ELR uses the same carbs I think. But depending on what you need you may have to get individual parts. Keep in mind if the diaphragms are bad they are about $75 per slide. So BE CAREFUL with them. These may work I tempted to order them and see.

thanks for the replies fellas, to be honest i think the guy is just looking for a kit that comes with gaskets, needles, seat and maybe the jets? you know just the norm. i don't think he needs diaphrams ect. the thing is that i have never owned a kz1000 so i don't know what years fit what. if anyone of you have more experience i would apreciate your input. i definately don't want to send my bud something that won't fit you know? thanks guys, Lou

I crossed all of the individual parts and evrything is the same as 81-83 KZ1100A Shaft

bowl gasket= 11009

pilot jet 37.5=92064

main jet is different police is 127.5 shaft is 122.5 (probably can't tell difference)

float needle/ seat= 16030

air mixture screw= 16014

This kit here will work, the only difference is the main jet size. Kit shows two pilots and two mains so maybe they give you both? Email seller maybe?
