Stock Air Filter

I have a 82 KZ750-M1 CSR Twin. I am looking for an air filter for it, K&N list it being a KA-0750 and Kawasaki part number also crosses to this. But it is not the correct filter the K&N is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches to long anybody got any ideas. Thanks

You used to be able to order the aftermarket filters by length: the metal frame came separate from the foam liner and you put the foam element on the frame. That's how I got one for my 750 twin. I think I got it from JC Whitney but other places sell them.
