Mikuni Rs34 Flatslides

Hello I just installed a New set of Mikuni RS34 Flatslides on my 1978 KZ1000 LTD . They are making a Chattering noise . Does anyome know what causes this.

They all do that, its the slides chattering. They are race carbs, with open pipes you wont even notice them

Also called Rattlekunis:P Flat slides do rattle and when they become older they will get louder. Really draws attention on parking-lotsB)

Z1000R Â´83...Slightly modified...

Thanks for the info and yes my Denco 4 into 1 does drown out the noise.

I'd like to get "Clackslides" on to the list here as well, please.

I've actually to sorta enjoy the sound, though it's not quite the peaceful idle. It's a warning, really.
