I have a 1977kz1000 FSM, but a 1975 bike, and hell, I am not even sure what carbs I have on the bike- I am going out to re-identify them, again,

but my question is, other than the differences in carbs as far as parts swap ability- I have read those threads- is the manual complete enough as far as setting things right?

The float bowls are obviously set too high, and so the carbs are coming off, and I am double checking and noting all jet sizes on this thing.

BUt the FSM will give me 98% of what I need to know as far as removal and settings?
