Tis popping season through my left bank exhaust. Seems to be getting too much fuel and popping on decel. Only 1 and 2 plugs look like they're running rich. Possibly valves out of adjustment?? This is a new development this year only. Bike never did this before. Could it be from when my brother crashed it last year and caved in the header pipe for cyl #1??? I synced the carbs with my merc sticks last week and cyl #1 was way higher then the other 3. Any suggestions??

So I should use my 5 gas bench analizer to tune the carbs instead of "zach sniff the pipes tell me if they smell the same." It's weird it's only done this since my brother crashed it. I thought tuning the carbs with the merc stick would do the trick, but it didn't, hey it did seem to make the thing run smoother though.

Not too bad, it was still rideable. Case guards smashed into case, so I couldn't shift, but still was able to un-bolt them and take em off. The handle bars are bent, left side signals missing, small dents in tank, light rip in seat, smashed headlight, bent headlight bucket, and headlight mounts, and #1 pipe on exhaust is "flat" on the frame.

I was just trying to find a reason, from the crash, that would cause the bike to be running like that...but I can't think of anything, other than the squished pipe...but You say that You fixed that??...hmmm.

Nah the pipe is still squished. Performance exhaust is still on ebay. Friday's paycheck will allow it to arrive at my house. :)
