I am trying to find out what carbs will fit a 1981 GPz 1100. The spacing I have is 75mm,95mm,75mm, with a 33mm bore. I'm finding it difficult to find out what year-make bikes used carbs that would fit this. Can anyone help?

I want to swap out the fuel injection because it's problematic. I think the air temp sensor in the airbox isn't working, as it failed an ohm bench test.

This is what I'm thinking kano is reffering to; eBay Link

Kawasakiman, when you say send me, do you mean you are looking to swap, or do you need it to make sure I get the right stuff. The fuel pump works, and everthing else is off the bike.

Also, when I removed the complete injection system, I lost spark. What do I need to do to bypass so I get the spark back with this removed???

Thanks to everyone,,, I'm getting anxious as this bike has been pigeon holed for several years, and I've never even taken it down the road once.

Carbs suck, injectors squirt ;)

Having said that the 1980/81 versions of Kawasaki's EFI system really did suck, but by 1983 they had actually done a fantastic job, years ahead of it's time.

I was wondering about the ignition system dying when you remove the airbox. What road can you point me down for the right way.

Thanks

yeah but you know how to make that stuff work, back in 1984 i was a 19 year old pfc in the army and smooth bores were really easy for a dumb kid to work on!:P i had the dealer screw with it,had 2 other guys try and jack with it also and didnt have any luck !so went with a set of 29s and a supertrapp header ran much better till i tied into a warmed over 900 with a bottle under his seat who handed me my ass repeatedly cost me $500.00 that night to find out having the newest toy didnt make it the fastest toy!:P im gonna get me another silver gpz but this time im gonna build the piss out of it! ;)
