1982 GPz750 CV carbs.

I've lost my mind.... The O-ring "T" fitting between 1&2 and the other between 3&4, are these just atmoshperic vents? or have I lost my mind and something should attach to them. I'm thinking they should just have hoses that just run downward to atmosphere.

I have the air suction hoses correct along with the fuel line and petcock vacuum. But i have completely forgotten about the two "T" fittings.

Sorry, no pics for right now. I loaned my camera until tomorrow. So I will take the pics to better describe my dilemma if need be. BTW, my Clymer doesn't show or give any help.

Thanks,
Richard

The BS34 have 3 plastic "T"'s. The middle one is for the 1/4" fuel line from tank. The other 2 are not inline with the fuel delivery system. They are lower and aft on the carb body.

After looking at the pic, the "T"'s in question can be seen better from below and the filter side of the carb assembly.

I know pics would help. I won't be able to have any until tomorrow about this time. I tried to upload from my phone but my phone and computer are having a disagreement.

yeah, those are vent tubes..my bike has 2 small Ts that have black hoses that run down and away from the carbs incase of overflow and to get the air out.

The vacuum ports should all be on the front of the carbs, with the T for the gas in the middle, right?

That sounds correct to me. I think the previous owner removed the hoses. That's why I did't have a clue what attached to them. They also got rid of the bowl hoses too. So I have to make another trip to the parts store for more line.
