Any ideas for tweeking them in to shape friday the 13th comming fast can't miss it. Thanks for any help!!:S

Wizz...have You checked Your valve clearances?
Have You synchronized the carbs,or at least tried adjusting the air mixture screws?
Hows Your ignition timing?
How are the points and the timing advance mechanism?

And just for the record,if Your bike is a 77,it's not an A2,it's an A1;)

Please recheck your jetting. More likely #22.5 pilot jets and #117.5 mains. Keep the jet needles clipped to 3rd slot and use some #17.5 pilot jets and #117.5 mains should be OK.
