I am rebuilding my carbs on a 78 kz650b2 using K&L kits and I have a couple of o rings left that I don't know where they go....one is a little bitty teeny one and there are 2 in the kit that fit the bowl drain plug, but I'm sure one goes somewhere else.....ALSO.....like a dumbass, I didn't write down any of the carb settings, so I need a good starting point.....stock air box and filter, 90 jets, clip is 4th from the top (or second from the bottom) Jardine 4 into 2 (will be taking the baffles out).....just need a good baseline to start.....thanks

Hey, I just rebuilt a B2 and C2 carb this winter.

The two o-rings that can be replaced are the one on the drain screw and the one around the main jet holder. I'm looking at my leftovers and see that I still have an extra o-ring left.

The stock main jet for the B2/C2 is 102.5, needle at the 4th clip position, and air screws 1 1/2 turns out from lightly seated. This is assuming you actually have B2 carbs on your B2, and they use the shorter of the two air screws (the third is a pilot screw) in the kit.

I've got another thread where I talk about how my K&L pilot jets were messed up and probably a bit smallish, causing rough running on cold starts.
