Would carbs from a 1979 kz650 be the same as a 1978 kz650? I have no way of looking at model #'s since it is on the net.

You should be good to go.

Both use the 24 mm carbs.Even on some models,the 77 uses the same carbs too.

Just to be sure though...what models are You talking about?
I can double check on My cross-reference...
