I was checking the listings at Z1, and I had a question about replacing my petcock. If I purchase a new single outlet petcock, then will I have sufficient fuel flow by running a T to my carbs? Or.........should I spend the extra money (ha extra money!!!) on a dual outlet Pingel?

Thanks in advance,

I was thinking about that myself for a while... I strongly suspect that there is enough fuel flow for a twin that way....

Thanks Toast. It's cheap enough from Z1 to give it a shot. I'll speak up again in a few days/week once I receive it and get it put on. :)

I run a 1977 KZ650 with the single outlet Teed off to double inlet KZ1000 carbs and it works great, so I'd wager to bet it would work fine on a 750 twin.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Ordered the parts from Z1 Wednesday morning, and they arrived packaged very nicely Saturday with the post. I installed the single outlet petcock, T, fresh gas, and battery off the charger. DING DING DING! Fired right up. Plenty of flow and no more gas leaking.

Thank you Z1 Enterprises!

Absolutely awesome... another twinner back on tha' road...
Just curious, do you run inline filters in that thing?
If so, now that you have a "t", do you use one filter or two?
