CV carb parts !! was created by Leather
After 25 years my trusty Kein CV 34's are starting to soot up my ol Vance and Hines pipe.. So I guess its about time to hunt some parts for my CV's .. and there comes the rub.. cant seem to locate stuff like jets and stuff.. any one got a suggestion as to where to look?
I figure after all these years of use , thar stuff like pilot jets and needle seats wil be worn and might need a replacemant here and there.. stuff like that. but I cant seem to locate that stuff. Any one got any suggestions as to where to look? Dont wana even think about a dealer.. christ ,they charges me six bucks once for a bolt!

Z1 only seems to handle the main jets and a needle shim kit. I did see the carb kits with the new needle and float needle and o-rings tho.. I sure dont wanna have to buy a couple of kits just to get say two folat needles.

You can check your fellow kawasaki dealership or bike store for them. I don't think they could get anymore expensive than you think

If time is easier to part with than money for you (like it is with most of us), being thorough and checking everywhere can net you a lot of luck most times with just about any part.

Well I'm sure more able to afford my time as to opposed to my money! So I'll keep hunting. I'm still riding it most days right now, just know its gonna have to be done some time in the future, so might as well get the parts on hand and be ready.:S
