What is the forums opinion on Keihen CR Special carbs. My 83 kz1000elr has them on it and i am to the point of running and riding. can i get parts, do they work well, they are 33mm. any comments. thanks russell

I have them on my z1r. I like them. They are a racing carburetor and are not designed for 1000 rpm idle speed. They can be tuned for it but have extremely sensitive mixture screws. 1500 is easier but mine runs at 1000 perfectly. They are designed for no airbox also. Low speed jets cost 13 bucks each which is frickin high as a giraffe's ass. Sudco sells the parts, every single one.
