I will look for that master today, I got sidetracked parting out a drag bike and forgot I should be looking for that.
I do have one on the bike I am rebuilding so I know what to look for.

I found two of those 5/8" front masters in my "brake" box. One has been taken apart and one is complete.
They are not gouged up or ever seen the pavement. Not sure what condition you need but they do need some work. The plastic on both is a bit discolored, not sure if there is a fix for that?
I know I need one for my C1 restoration.
For some reason it seems like I have way more rear masters than fronts.
I have one more place to look at but I can't get there till tomorrow, it has most of the parts for the C1. I want to be sure that one of those belongs to that bike or there could be another master in that parts bin??
That is the problem when projects sit too long, you can't remember whats in those bins!

Appreciate all of your time Injected! Here are a couple of quick pics of my C1. It’s in nice shape but does have some “patina”. I would be interested in anything you don’t need to keep.

Great to hear you fellas can Help each other! A tip Injected. I use a solution/product used for human hair, creme developer. For salon use when person's want to change the color of their hair. I use it for taking the "Brown" out of those white 1/10th register mileage and trip meter wheels. But also use on those reservoir White plastic master cylinder cups. Works wonders! Just fill a clear plastic baggie with solution/product and sit it in the sun for as long as it takes to do what it does. Doesn't affect plastic, just Whitens it.

Still looking for this Master 5/8" master. Don't know all the details but the former prospect of Injected supplying one fell thru. Most likely the imposed complexity of paperwork coming out of Canada to the US. Nothing new i'm dealing with either. Have a Friend in Alberta that was going to send me a wiring harness to rebuild but...paperwork..again. I investigated the prospect of using a Goldwing similar looking Tokico but they are really different in soo many ways. Look forward to hearing from anyone that "might" have one, in the US i guess ha.

We looked at having MC's relined some years ago. Found two places offering the service, one that uses SS liner, the other uses brass liner. Cost was much more that new repops so we didn't chase it any further.
Unless it's been lost, there should be a thread here we posted re: MC relining services.

It was non-existent Jim. Nothing to work with. And Yes, i've been having Original masters re-sleeved for years. I use Karp's out of California. When working on the KZ1300's rear master it's a necessity to have a source of SS sleeving. These are really hard to find in good usable shape. Also have had them do Norton masters too.

Re: Kawasaki 5/8 Master Cylinder
18 Jul 2026 14:35 - 18 Jul 2026 14:42I received a message from a member on here that said he does sometimes drive by on his way out to the East Coast. I am only about a 30 minute drive North off a major highway that runs from Detroit to Buffalo (see pic) a lot of people take this Northern route because its quicker. As long as you can get across the border its a breeze.Still looking for this Master 5/8" master. Don't know all the details but the former prospect of Injected supplying one fell thru. I am about 1/2 way along that route where the little camera is.
I am keeping a few of the parts guys have shown interest in just in case they "drive by"
Don't worry, people around here don't speak French! and we killed all the Bear and Moose 400 years ago.
