Kawasaki 5/8 Master Cylinder

In search of a Nice ORIGINAL Tokico 5/8' front master cylinder with the "tall" plastic reservoir. Unique because used only one year on the dual disc equipped KZ1000/650 bikes. I know various Euro bikes came these as standard equipment too. PM if wanting to sell/trade. Thanks, Clay

Found one moizeau! Don't have one so found a couple 1977 LTD KZ1000 photos      that used it because of the dual front disc arrangement. Also used on the 1977 KZ650 C1 with dual disc. A ONE year only Master for 1977 LTD's. Also included a "similar" looking at first glance photo of the 1/2" version but note that white plastic reservoir isn't as tall.

1977 650 C models may have used the same MC, but later years went to the trapazoid/rectangular resevoir.

The 1977 C1 KZ650 came stock with that tall master. Here is the picture from the dealers brochure :

I have one but need it for a restoration on a C1, but I may have a spare in a box somewhere and will have a look. On some bikes I have already replaced those old 5/8" masters for more modern Kawi versions so the chance of me having a spare is pretty high.

Thank-You Injected! That would be groovy if you happen to stumble across one! Oink has one on ebay but its reservoir is less then desirable.

Injected, asphalt started this add on my behalf as I don’t always frequent this site. If you have an extra master cylinder that would be fantastic! I recently purchased a very complete 77 KZ650 C1 that the master cylinder has been swapped out for a later model trapezoid type. Let me know what you come up with. Thanks again

Nice catch moizeau!! I was going to mention that because the early GL1000's had pretty much same master Tokico. They had slightly different bracketry/plate underneath the pivot bolt though. I used to work on a lot of the GL1000/1100/1200 and 1500's plus a glob of other similar Honda various CC displacements. I'll wander the web and see. Thank-You!!

Hey Clay there are a few Honda units in Europe but not cheap (by the time you add shipping etc you will be around $250) the below is in California and doesn't look bad (levers been butchered) at a reasonable price
