Howdie
Was calmly refreshing the top end in my road racing GPZ750/810 which runs a big bore 69mm wiseco kit.
Trying to find new rings set for it, but its turning out to be much more difficult than i thought...
Quite few sellers in ebay do publish the set (wiseco 2717XC ), but then it turns out they are just resellers with no stock and there is no true availabilty for the x4 sets i need

your help or ideas are welcome!

Have you tried contacting Wiseco directly?  They should be able to tell you if there are any supply issues with the rings, and maybe even who has them in stock.

If you know the nominal ring thicknesses you can look up non motorcycle replacement ring sets as they are sometimes cheaper and easier to find.

I have found Perfect Circle and NPR rings (Made in Japan) using online catalogs. I found both ring sets on Ebay, one was for a Nissan 1600 and the other a Honda Civic 1200 (76 and 70 mm)

For a less than 1200 cc automotive engine they are usually 3 cylinder engines, for under 70 mm pistons. First search the bore and ring thickness, then Google the make/model of car which will tell you what is for sale.

Some times the 1st and 2nd rings are OK but the oil rings may be too thick. In those cases I will reuse the old oil scraper sets (no harm) The 70 mm was for my 831cc KZ engine.

I just Googled "NPR 69 mm rings" and went to the listing for NPR of America "ring by diameter" and it shows 1-1/2 pages of listings for various ring thicknesses for 69 mm pistons. Not sure what Wiseco 810 uses so you need to look for yourself.

They also have a Japanese catalog that may give more small engine options.

I found out those rings are 1.00mm x 1.20mm x 2.80mm. They correspond to Daihatsu and Suzuki automotive, but also seem to be branded as "Hi Performance" XC2717 in the NPR catalog.

Just saw that your in Italy so you may have better luck with MAHLE or Rheinmetall AG catalogs.
