Kz750e Clutch issues?

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice, my 82 kz 750 once before and now again feels like the clutch seized (somewhat) it had a weird pull on the lever, now it doesn’t happen all the times it went away after I changed the oil this season (new bike to me). I added Lucas motorcycle oil stabilizer today and I got quieter (the engine is a bit noisy) but noticed clutch lever is weird again, but grabs perfectly fine on gears

Have the cable and lever been properly lubricated?
What do you mean by "feels like the clutch seized?"

Is the motor oil you used approved for motorcycles with a wet clutch?

I would do a basic clutch adjustment & adjust the cable. On the 82 750E I believe the clutch release adjusting screw should be turned counterclockwise first until hard to turn, then clockwise 1/4 turn. That's how it's done on a number of 80's models, including my 81 KZ650-CSR >> it's kind of counter-intuitive. Some manuals are ambiguous as to the direction.
