Wiseco?

Hello all.
I am looking at new rings for my 78 kz650. Z1 seems to have everything I need.
My question is will these rings fit on a stock bike? And how do I know if I have Wiseco pistons?

"2520XC Ring Set - 64mm XC - Wiseco - Kawasaki KZ650 1977-80. For use with Wiseco pistons ONLY."

Thanks!

Wiseco rings will not fit a stock kawa piston.
They are different thicknesses.
Wiseco pistons are forged and Kawa ones are cast.
Wiseco ones will have a 'W' on the underside of the piston and a part number on the crown.
Stock kawa will have part number and possibly 'ART' cast on the recessed part of the skirt next to the gudgeon pin.
Post a pic of your pistons and it will be evident what they are but chances are they will be stock.

I was just wondering if anyone has had good experience with other brands.
I've seen some on Ebay that are MUCH cheaper.
Thanks!

Buying aftermarket rings comes with some risk. If they have the proper amount of land to ring clearance and they are properly round they should work. The hard part is know in advance if they will/are. If you decide to gamble I'd use a 240 grit bottle brush hone. No finer.
