Has anyone ever used mop and glow on their bare metal pipes to prevent corrosion?

Mop and glow? Delkavic pipes are stainless steel so corrosion should be minimal.

I don't know what that stuff is made of, but any natural wax product will burn off. Wax products are fine for other parts that don't get so hot.

Best thing to put on stainless steel is oil, you might want to test a product called Orange Glo wood polish and conditioner, it is made with orange oil and wipes dry, it is great on stainless steel refrigerators, furniture, vinyl, and .... more, also it keeps dust and fingermarks off, I can vouch for it as we use it in our home, it is worth giving it a try.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I'm up in the air about raw pipes, I'm also thinking putting an ultra polish to them as the brushed effect will collect dirt deeper. I guess Ill know when they show up!! Only pondering because SS rotors rust too.

Stainless rotors are a 400 series, martensitic, these stainless steels aren't as corrosion resistant as the austenitic types, 300 series like the pipes are made out of.
