Denso W24ESU

Many people say Denso W24ESU plugs are the best. Only thing is, they are hard to find! I bought a set on e-bay awhile back and finally put them in my KZ1000 the other day. It did actually fire up a bit quicker compared with the NGK's.

So I went hunting on the internet for more plugs, would up on e-bay again and found a guy who sells them at a great price.

Here's the link to Greg's This n That

Sometimes I don't find the plugs on e-bay by searching for W24ESU. But I do find them when I search for W24.

Check it out. I bought eight of these plugs and the price, including postage to Hawaii (flat rate box) was under $20.

I use the Denso "Hot U" ND W22ES-U on my KZ650 and they work great. Keep an eye on eBay because sometimes you can find amazing deals on spark plugs. I bought 40 (forty) of the above plugs all nice and new in clean packaging for $10 ! :) I'll never need to buy plugs for the bike again. Ed

you are correct. They are the identical plug made for ACCEL by Denso because they discontinued them as the W24ESU. You can buy those at Summit or Jegs.

You beat me. I bought a case of Denso plugs for twenty five bucks. 80 brand spankin' new plugs, individually boxed in the original packaging. yee haw.

That's an amazing deal! That's about $320 worth of plugs for $25 - not too shabby! Ed

I've run the ND plus - I still have a bunch in my tool box that came with my turbo Z1. Overall I'd say they are good plugs. I wouldn't consider tham better than the NGK plugs. The heat ranges seem to overlap the NGK plugs a little. I got a slightly different plug color with the W27ES-U plugs versus the NGK B9ES plugs in my turbo bike - although I can't remember now which was hotter.

According to that guide the Accel #112 is a replacement for the NGK B8ES.

I checked with some local shops and didn't find any in Honolulu that carry Accel sparkplugs. And Jeg's doesn't offer shipping to Hawaii.

It's been a while since I did the research but I looked up my notes. I was hasty with my agreement. The ACCEL 142 is the same as the W24ES-U (B8ES), and the 143 is the same as the W22ES-U. Here is the link to my research. There are a lot of conflicting references on the web, so proper research was required.
