When we came to this country in 1967, I had to bring all of my tests home for my dad to see. I used to get 10 lashes with a doubled up extension cord for every "D" or "F" I brought home. Unfortunately I brought home a lot of "F"s in spelling. No joke intended when I say that dad wore out a couple of extension cords over my back side. Did I learn to spell that way? Hell no. But I did develop a hell-o-fa endurance for pain. The "DI"s in boot camp were astonished, and so were the doctors and dentists there also. That is no sea story either. I have a few marks and scars to prove it. :S :laugh:

The worst i ever got was 100 with aforementioned device from him. I don't think I know very many adults that could handle that, Now imagine a kid between the age of 9-11. :blink: It stopped at 13 when I became quite a bit bigger and stronger than dad.

ahhh yes, central/eastern euro dads. Godda love 'em I think I have you beat though Otto, I got it with a vacuum cleaner over the head because I told the priest at school that I wouldn't say the act of contrition. It ended for me when I was 15/16
