I got ambitious yesterday so in between volunteer work for everyone else I managed to swap out the chain and sprockets , now all I have to do is finish cleaning the rim and it's going back on for an afternoon ride.

JD, how are you liking the new chain? I wiped off the packing grease on mine and used the Dupont Teflon Chain lube on it. You may get some initial stretch for the first 50 mi and need readjustment.

Well the flag is officially in Illinois! Couldn't have asked for better weather, especially in December. It's currently 71 degrees in St. Louis.

Met ghotrodr down close to the arch for the handoff and tried the best we could to get some pics of our bikes near it. Due to the Rams game, traffic was a little crazy. Now to see if I can get ahold of ready2ryde1984 to see if, well... their ready to ride. If not, it looks like you're next, Rainman.

Gateway to the west, very cool. I like that we get pictures of landmarks now and then. Some places everybody knows. Shots like that will look good on the poster.

20 minute rides are about my max

Just responded to a PM from Rainman and we are going to try and get together during the week while the weather is still nice. Looks like we only live a couple of hours from each other, so we should be able to hook up fairly easily.
