Well the flag made it a little further down the road today. Met up with Leon, talked a bit, took a pic of the hand off and headed back to the house. Was a nice day for riding, warm a little windy but not bad. It was good talking and meeting you'll Leon. So far as i can tell the next hand off is to GhrtodR from Springfield, MO, is this correct?

That is correct.
BTW outstanding job! The third leg riders ate doing great. We have been lucky with the weather so far. If we keep the flag going, we can get to Wisconsin this year yet
Mac68, be sure to clip theNW corner of Arkansas on your trip to meet GhrtodR. Its the best chance to get that state. PM Ghrtod and set up a meet asap. Its not getting warmer.
Again, good work.

Things are good here Kevin, I've been keeping the 650's legs stretched and once I get the title for her stablemate, can't be without something to ride, she is going down for some maintenance, light restoration and a couple of upgrades. Nothing that is going to take away from the originality though.

me and my buddy matt(him on his zrx1200)met up with mac68 in locust grove and made the hand off.
we took hwy 20 from skiatook through collinsville,on to claremore and found that hwy 88 between claremore and inola had been re-done and it was good for some hundred plus mile per hour blasts and highspeed (120mph) sweepers.we hit hwy 412 at inola then east through choteau and hit old hwy 33 to locust grove.

we managed to pretty much block his bike :pinch: .
mac68 has a nice old kz1000 survivor that he rode over to meet us on.
we then rode back towards tahlequah with mac68 then dropped off in peggs at a friend of mines house.
shot the breeze and then started chasin the sun back west.
we ran like our hair was on fire all the way back.
we went back up hwy 82 through locust grove,at salina we took hwy 28 to spavinaw,on to langley, then pensacola, adair, chelsea,on out through winganon and then hit hwy 169 south to talala then hit the county roads through the caney bottoms and on to hwy 75 south down to my house.

lotsa curves on the way back.i got to wring the old z1r out and push it's cornering limits as far as i dared.

we got home just as the sun was dipping behind the osage hills, perfect timing.
matt stopped in the street in front of my house said thanks for the good time done a burnout and headed to the house :cheer:

i am pleased to have gotten to participate in this relay, had alot of fun on both the pick-up and the hand off.

I think it is Snarky30 from the St.Louis area, correct me if i am wrong. Do we need to hit the corner of Kansas while we are really close or is it going thru there later?
