It's been two months since any updates were posted on the photo thread. Where's the relay now? You guys have any pics from Leg 3 to share?

Hi Topper,

There are pictures in the different threads, but I guess they were not update to the photo thread. The pictures are included in the Google Relay map however. Just a matter of clicking on the green motorcycle icon.

Ya it would be cool to keep that up dated. You can start from the begining and check out the whole ride . Hope its not to late to get it up dated. Other wise you have to jump from thread to thread to figure out whats going on

I (yaaaawn) just woke up from hibernation. The snow mountain in my driveway is still about 9' high. The puddle under it is about 3" deep and the water is lapping at the slab the shop sits on. Three or four weeks should be riding weather in Wisconsin, maybe less if the dirt pig had it right in February. The Voyager is about a week away from running, the KZ1000 about a month or maybe more. Oh wait a minute, the seat guy wont have the Voyager seat ready till the end of March. Gettin' a new wider ass cushion with gel pads for the long hauls. Any body heading down to Casey Illinois for the Moonshine Lunch Run? April 13 is the date. Casey is in east central IL. 331 miles south of West Bend, WI. I'll be there if weather permits.

I talked to Rainman and he's ready, so I'm going to finish tweaking the old girl and be ready to ride by the end of this month.

My plan is to bring it into Chicago around the 2nd Saturday or Sunday in April, so you city guys get ready :woohoo:

That kinda puts the kabosh to me making the Moonshine Lunch Run Tom, but it looks like fun and there is always next year.

So, Jim. You're about 3 months behind on your postings eh? Nice pictures. Did you also add them to the picture thread? BlueJ58 is ready. You got a date set with him yet, or just waiting for a break in the weather?

Keep that weather mantra going. We need heat. If you go to Chicago on the 13th of April, I might be able to connect with you there. If the weather cooperates, I'll be heading home from Moonshine Sunday. It's about 200 miles to Chicago from Moonshine, so if I left by mid morning I could be in Chicago by early afternoon. Think about it.

Were you away all winter that you would miss Wisconsin? I was here and I wish I had missed it. It's snowing again as I write this.

The flag is in west central Illinois. It's moving north soon, supposed to be around Chicago the weekend of April 13th. You're in the Fox Valley, correct? Oshkosh, Appleton, somewhere? Riding a KZ440 I believe?

I summarized the route for Link14 yesterday. Keep an eye open for updates. Glad you survived the cold.

Crap, I need another cup of coffee. I realized the route was in a PM, so here it is for all to see.

From Rainman in Quincy, IL to BlueJ58 in Marseilles, IL. BlueJ takes it into Chicago to Saxjones and another rider there, sorry I don't remember the name. I'll go into Chicago and pick it up and carry it into Wisconsin. There are several riders here. WendyS and DoubleDub in Madison, Daddy Jama in Oshkosh, I think Moneypit is up north (with a bent frame if memory serves) then into Minneapolis. A Minnesota rider goes west to clip the corners of the Dakotas and then the flag moves south into Iowa. There are 3 riders in IA, I think from Ottumwa all the way west to the Nebraska border. Then south into Kansas, Again multiple riders to cover that state. Then south west to New Mexico. That ends leg 3. Link 14 takes over from there to cover th4e really big Rocky Mountain states. I'll study the map some and come up with a detailed plan as I here from the individual riders.
Wake up every body! We're on the road again soon. *^$@#%^&( winter is almost gone and it's time to ride!
