He's still around, responded to a key issue thread a week or 2 ago.
You might not want to broadcast your key code and just pm him.

Buy 2! That way if you lose one you won't be stuck. Ed

Keep track of your keys!! Make sure you have a spare!!
Yesterday we had a guy come in (to autozone) on a cbr (nice bike btw) he got a week ago, he dropped his key while in the store. Another customer stole it. We knew who it was (a known thief), but he wouldn't admit to it and company policy prevented us from doing anything else about it. That was the guys only key. He pushed it home. If there is somewhere that is very hard to notice, keep a key on the bike! For example on my versys behind the front fairing is a good spot, requires allen wrench to take the fairings off and you have to remove other parts before you can take that fairing off. I only know this because I dropped my key in the bike once and my allens were under my (locked) seat. I had a spare at my house, but I had to get a ride home to get it.
Something to think about.

I have a spare for each of my bikes, the one I dropped I recovered when I got home. It was behind the front fairing. Just thought I would share the story and hopefully get some people to consider a back up plan while they are out and about, not just have one at home.

I'm still making keys.
Do have issues with the computers and programs that we used.
They are not communicating anymore.
So have resorted to using an old manual lathe type key machine.
I'd suggest a quick look on ebay for factory OEM keys.
See a number on there.

Rob,
Did you get the computer program issue fixed and are able to make keys again? Or should I check eBay?
Thanks,
Jay
