I rode all last year with one original key , the closest Kaw shop 35 miles away said that they would need me to bring the bike in to make sure that their plain Jane key would fit before they could make a copy and for only 25 bucks :woohoo:

I sent Rob an email with the 3 digit number stamped on my original and he was able two cut two perfect keys for a lot less then that.

Thank you Rob

PM me the code # of the key, and I can see if I can make it.
As long as the lock is in good shape it should work fine.
Check with a local Locksmith if you have one and am in need asap.

Thanks for the key Rob... BTW, both the 650 and 1100 have EXACTLY the same size/style key. Now the bonus... the 1100 key you made for me also starts the 650!!! ... works on all key locations on both bikes!! Woot! <happycamper!>

2 bikes, one key. Life is good!!!

OH MY, I HAVE NOT BEEN THIS IMPRESSED FOR A LONG TIME
I wont post the details, just in case Rob doesn't want it posted
suffice it to say, AWESOME
end result, I have single key that fits my 89 AND my 96 KZP, just by flipping the key, as mentioned in a post earlier. that's not even why I'm impressed, getting there was the impressive part

THANKS ROB
