SoCal: Ride the Crest in June?

June's still a ways off, but please think about a ride from La Canada/Flintridge to Wrightwood on Angeles Crest.
It's about 60 miles, and a popular (famous?) road for bikes.
We could do breakfast in La Canada/Flintridge, and be in Wrightwood for lunch. After that, everyone goes home via the 15 (south) or the 138 (west).
It'd be great if we can get a date that everyone can make, so I'm thowing this out now.
What do you think?

We could always just spend the afternoon taking them up and down Turnbull Canyon road.
I think I still remember which side roads are perfect for ditching the po-po too! :laugh:

Saturday, June 14 is on the table.

So far, we've got me & R4. Let's try for at least 10 bikes. Don't have to be KZs, or even Kaws. If you have some friends that can go, all the better.
If the date's bad for too many, we'll find a better date.

Can't wait.
I prefer Saturdays to Sundays. I can do Sunday if that works better for everyone but I will have to leave early.

My next door neighbor rides a RoadStar (or is it a V-star?). I'll invite him. He's usually busy on the weekends, but with lots of notice, he may be able to make it.
