I enjoy the bike alot Les. My son is patiently waiting for it :cheer: It is his ride when he visits. I dont ride as much as I have a Cocours that gets the bulk of my miles. But riding the ole Z is always a trip.

My makeover is done for now and I am pleased. Someday I will do the fancy fork/swingarm swaps but this will do for now. No coners in North Dakota anyhow B)

What year/model is that taillight off of? That appears to fit the older tail opening PERFECTLY!

It does fit the Z1 tail nearly perfectly. Mine is an'05 CBR 1K light. I'm not sure if the 600 is the same light, or what years 1K ran that light.
