somehow broke the links to my photobucket account.
I think I will just wait till I'm done then post up the entire build at one time

I decided the easist way is to post my photobucket link, so if I delete or move any pics it doesn't keep braeking my links.

these are the latest pics, this is what I call temporary paint. I put no time into paint preperation, this is only for the shits and giggles, It will come off when I finish the bike and tear it down again for it's real paint job.
actually doesn't look to bad from 20 feet away

i think there's a bit too much red on the front wheel area, i think if you made the sides of the front mud guard black then it would even it out a bit more, what ya rekon?? but looks ace man cool progress.

Ya know, at first I wasn't real sure about all the 'red and black', 'here and there', but now that it's on the bike it's really got a bit of a 'factory' look about it. I'm jealous of people who can take the stuff in their head and put it on a bike so easy. Nice work.

Have you determined where the top shock mount is going to be. if so how did determine where it would go. like what kind of factors determine its position and angle. PS awesome bike

The top mount is already on.
I eyeballed it and then made sure I would have full range of motion then made adjustments until I had the stance right and then tacked it in place.
before I go for first ride I will weld it up.
after that I will make any adjustments that are needed,
i.e. slide the forks, raise/lower the rear, cut it loose and move the mount.
in other words I guessed. LOL
that is half the fun of building a "RAT" bike
