retired welder/fabricator...Excellent!

We need (demand :P ) close up images of the mono shock mounts, top & bottom. For most of us, it took us awhile to figure out in our projects, so seeing what experience of a professional brings will be inspiring...

I loved my 550GPz! that thing was fun! I wanted to do to it what you are doing to yours, but sold it. If you set that chassis up right it will be one more fun to flick in a corner ride.....

Damn I miss my GPz! oh well, I now have a Kz650, and a 1000 to tinker with....

PICS OF MY NEW BARS

I got my NDE training out of the way finally, very long month
did a little WORK as training and studing allowed
built a new seat pan, not quite done with it yet, the original was so rusted underneath the foam that when I took the wire wheel to it there were holes
ordered the DRIVEN CF bars with risers from MOTO MADNESS (thanks again Nick, mad props)
those fuckers look sick as hell
my bro in law is now doing my machine work for me, parts are down and just waiting for mom in law b-day for him to come and bring my parts(1 1/2 week) not worth paying for shipping
I will put some pics up when I finally start to do some assembly

managed to DO WORK, at least a little bit
made some good progress on my seat pan and tail cowling, and made a couple electric bits a little more pretty
I forgot to take pics of my new CF bars, still working on the top triple clamp reinforcement plates for the dirty bars.

I might be a pro fabricator but I'm not a PRO motorcycle fabber, this is my first MAJOR project, before this it was mainly bolt-on work with a few custom metal bits thrown in.
this has made me really think about the things I try before I actually do them.

This looks like it coming along very nicely. Any planned mods to the engine, or leaving it stock for now?
