'92 Gsxr1100 shock linkage w/custom length dogbones
'95 Gsxr750 rear rim
'9? Zx7 rear brake caliper & M/C
'02 Gsxr1000 front fender
Stock KZ tank with '96 Suzuki GSXR Filler cap
Corbin Gunfighter seat (stealing if from my 1000)
Maier side covers (with Dzus fasteners)
Stock tail (will be extended 4-6" using another tail section)

Current engine parts list:

Thanks for the compliments!

Wireman, all together I should have $3500-4000 in the motor when I'm done and about the same in the rest of the bike. If I can beat one Busa it'll be worth it.!

Doug-- looks like a lot of fun putting that together-- I saw in another post where you are going to run the 9.50 class-- Thats good to hear-- That will make 2 kz's then -- as long as I get the zx14 dragbike done we will hopefully be hitting most of th eprostars-- TG/Pro ET on the 14 bike and then ST ET and 9.50 on the kz. My cousin is trying to get rid of his zx10 and build a kz to run the 9.50 class too-- that would be sweet to see 3 kz's in that class next year.

9.50's seems like a good ET for a big bore Kz motor with a street tire. I'm really hoping to have it done by the Prostar meet at Norwalk in October. That's the goal anyways. Hopefully you and your cousin will be there and I'll have the bike done. That will be a great showing of the old Kz's to the Gsxr/Zx crowd.

OK, I wanted to hold out but thought I should give some kinda update.

In the first pic of the thread you'll notice I had two tail sections stacked, well there was a reason for that.

I took the two and sectioned and trimmed and cut and rejoined to get a stock looking tail that's about 4-5" longer that a stock one.

I've tried making a couple fiberglass copies but haven't got it down yet.

Enjoy!
