Little by little...

Got both nuts welded on and tacked the bracket to the frame.

Moved the tank mounts back on the coil brackets. Doing so took up an unsightly gap between the Corbin seat and the tank. It also gave me a bigger gap at the front so the the newer forks have more turning radius with their less offset.

And yes I know my welds are horrible but I'm only concerned with them holding everything in place until I can get the frame TIG'd.

Ew, hey, the footpeg stuff came out nice, huh! Those are Tarozzis aren't they? Good stuff Tarrozzis. With the deals that Jim Henshaw is making I can't figure out why people would ever use Raasks:dry: .
Good stuff, keep it up!

Yup. they're Tarrozzi's. I had to make my own little plate that the MC attaches to because they were meant to use linkage for the stock MC and I had to remove the pedal mount.

They only problem I've had with them is trying to kick start my 1000. I snapped the bracket in half because the get in the way of the kick start lever.

It's MONO-SHOCKED!!!! 'Bought freakin' time!

I'm going to get some adjustable dogbones from here .

I still need to add a few gussets but at least everything is tacked together.

I also go the steering staiblizer bracket and brace welded on.

I might have a rolling chassis by May but I still need steering stops welded to the lower triple clamp and the meter bracket welded to the top triple clamp.

Well, its been slow going with Graduation and having 4 wisdom teeth taken out my last two weekends have been shot. I did trade the stock rear rim from the 900 for a set of passenger pegs from an R1. I also got the meter bracket welded to the top triple.

So I have a few pics.

This thread is a god send for me. I was trying to choose between a mono shock or dual shock. Now that someone has done the hard work for me all I have to do is take the pics in to my welder buddy and let him fab it up.
