Good news indeed!  I had cataract surgery a few years ago.  Before the replacements I was seeing 3 sets of lines on the highway.  Now I see only two!
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar.

Surgery was done under waking sedation; a surprisingly-tiny & tasty pill placed under my tongue, that, after 15 minutes or so, turned out to really be The Good S#|T !.  At least that's this ol' hippie's take on it.
:-D

I had to have a brain MRI last year, and claustrophobia was making it impossible. Your head needs to remain stationary for that, of course, so they velcro you into a chassis that immobilizes your head, shoulders, and arms and then stuff you into the too-small hole of a big metal donut. For the final attempt the Dr provided some really amazing stuff. Not only was the MRI no problem, I was a happy dude the whole afternoon.
