Engine black restore

Hi guys, Thanks for the info in the past. I just hope my next question has not already been covered in depth. If it has , please could someone direct me to it.
My 1980 Z750e ( They are Z750 in South Africa... Not KZ750), has the black engine,that has now lost it's trur black colour, and i would like to restore it back to black without having to repaint it. is there some type of high heat restorer available?, or maybe another suggestion. Thanks.

There's no other real option than to use paint of some description.
I use Sperex/Simoniz Tough black satin on all my engines which is the closest i've found to the original factory paint .
It is fuel resistant once cured and will last for many years if applied correctly.
It is similar to the old PJ1 before they ruined the formula.
