You might try a sudzie Dawn liquid blue dish detergent and water mix sprayed or wiped on.  Let it soak awhile then wash with a soft damp cloth or sponge, then a clean water rinse. 
I use Rain-X (orange color) liquid windshield cleaner on my windscreen and helmet visors.  It also helps keep my chrome engine covers clean and shining.

mothers and a polishing pad worked wonders...you almost want to get caught in the rain again....lol
