The 77 I bought a month ago had no side covers on it.

I managed to find both on ebay and got into a bidding war with a guy for them and won, but they aren't easy to come by it seems.

I did find these off a 79. Not sure if they are the same or not? One is cracked but nothing that couldn't be fixed.

I think I might just end up getting an aftermarket maier one, they're 28 bucks US or something, I'd pay that much for them on ebay.
