If there is a better place to post this let me know. I have a couple of questions about the bike in this pic. I found it after doing a search because I'm mildly interested in chopping my '79 KZ400.

Where is the battery?

Is the handlebar fabricated?

Is the rear fender fabricated?

Did they just chop out the seat rails and make up the solo saddle?

Is this a "hardtail?"

Okay, I can't get the pic sized down enough, here's a link: www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/images/KZ400_chopper.jpg

Thanks. By the way, I am extremely impressed with this site. I haven't been on it since before I got married a year ago. Very, very good job. I'll give it $5 a month, I hope that's enough.

Here is your picture. It took me about a month to figure out how to resize 'em ( with a lot of help).

Battery is prolly behind that (ugly) side cover
Bars like that can be bought or fabbed
Same with rear fender
Frame has been hacked/redone beyond just hacking the seat rails
Yup, thats as hard a tail as they come

Yeah...who am I kidding. I'm never going to chop this thing. I'm just going to change the oil and put it back together.
