The pads on my 79 KZ1000 are the factory originals. I am sure there have been advances in materials to reduce fade etc. What would be the best replacement pads for my stock rotors?
79 KZ1000 LTD B3, 1075 kit, BS34 carbs, high velocity ported heads, K410 cams, V&H pipe w/custom baffle

The only advances I know of are cheap crap junk Chinese junk that doesn't work, but is "great" because it's "cheap". Great reason it's cheap too, because it's crap. I'm not sure where Vesra, Ferodo, EBC, ect is made, but they should be Chinese because they work just the way we expect, major wear, major squeel, won't even fit in the cavity without binding ect, ect. A whole lotta crap out there, gets my blood boiling what damn crap there is.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I've been using Feroda, no problem. Time for new pads, went with EBC from the dealer, no problem, smooth, predictable, fine in the rain.
