Took the Vetter fairing and bags off, quick check of plug gap, oil, fuel flow, though I couldn't find my compression tester. Found one of the plug holes had been stripped at one time:

Have either a bad coil, or just wires (they were even to short to swap positions for testing, and in bad shape to boot), some wiring issues (mostly signals),

Started up fine, but definitely what you would call a project, which is OK by me. Will put it away for the winter, maybe start in the spring. Here is a pic after taking the hard bags off. Just want to keep stripping it down, but hunting trip coming up next week, then it will be time for some tweaking on the sled and ATV. It will be patiently waiting. B)

Fairing and bags removed:

I am curious of the horn mounting. Someone have a close up of theirs, or possibly take one and e-mail or PM me? Thanks. :P

If this is for the 650, it mounts in behind the forks just above the exhaust. There should be 2 threaded holes there for it.
