Gentlemen,

I have been a member here for a little while and have observed something here that is common with all vintage bike enthusiasts. We are limited in our parts choices by the age of our bikes and the parts available. One such part is the rear shock. I am sure alot, if not all of you, have admired the piggyback shocks on the ZRX1100 and 1200. Yes Ohlin and Progressive make them but hell they are megabucks. Would you lads be interested in a super high quality yet affordable piggyshock similar to the ZRX1200 version?

Those look pretty nice!

What brand are they?

If repairs or parts are needed for them at sometime, it would be nice to know it's from a company that has been, and will be around for a while.

It is my company producing them. The brand name is

Vipex

We are a relatively new engineering company currently developing high performance motorcycle products. We plan on being around for a long time and are growing slowly.

The shocks you see are CBF Honda spec. They are currently used on 1979 - 1983 Honda CB1100F 900F and 750F. Configuring them for Kawi is in the works - stay tuned.

I need to post a bigger picture of this product so everyone at this forum can get a better perspective on their superb fit and finish.

Interesting! Where will these be produced?

You know, CruisingRam has connections in Russia for manufacturing precision parts. Maybe ya'll should put your heads together...

Are you involved with the manufacture of custom aluminum trailers, also?

The shocks are designed by an engineering team in the United States and Canada. The components have been sourced offshore and they have been checked from a metallurgic and tolerance standpoint. After that has taken place final assembly occurs and they are marketed.

The building of trailers is not our business or interest.

heres a link for you to get a better look.

All the specs will happen soon. They will be firmer than stock for certain. The current model being specified here will have adjustment for preload.

Okay, I'll bite. Forgive me for sounding like a dick.

But it's your company?
An engineering co, and you know nothing about the specs of your product?
Which you are only hawking on two small niche websites? Because you have no pics or a website of your own???

You are based in Canada? And the parts are produced overseas?

The link provided offers the same picture.

No stickers, labels, Company logo or product ID on shock pictured.

Your email address is a free one from hotmail.

You have been a member for like a month...

And you took 40 pre-orders on the other site...

How about passing out some free samples? I will promote the piss out of your product to my friends, family, on all the websites I belong too, motorcycle groups, shows, swap meets, and runs? I can take pictures of them on my bike and post it in the gallery too. Hell. I'll even design a logo for you.B)

Thanks in advance,
T

I like the shocks however I'm not too keen on the gold parts of the shocks. Will it be offered in chrome or polished aluminum?

If your offering discounts for people who help to promote your product count me in. I'm working on three KZ's as we speak. I'm sure I could sell a dozen or more in a short period of time.

I'm locking this thread for a number of reasons.

First, this is commercial advertising, and that is strictly prohibited.

Second, advertising is prohibited in the Tech Forums (although sometimes overlooked, at Mods discretion).

Third, exactly who are you and what is the name and website of the company?

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.
